WOMM and The Simpson’s Movie

By Ted Wright July 27, 2007

We love the WOMM program created by Fox and  7-11 for The Simpsons Movie. Turning 7-11 stores into Quick-E-Marts and then loading in Simpsons based products was just brilliant. It gave gave everyone in America who might possibly go see the The Simpsons Movie a brand specific story to share that tied directly to the movie.  Interesting, relevant and authentic. Brilliant!

In honor of the opening of The Simpsons Movie today, and because we just wanted to, below please find some Simpson’s moments we love. Let us know yours!

Homer: There’s your giraffe, little girl.
Ralph Wiggum: I’m a boy.
Homer: That’s the spirit. Never give up.

Homer: are you saying you’re never going to eat any animal again? What about bacon?
Lisa: no
Homer: ham?
Lisa: NO!
Homer: pork chops?
Lisa: Daaad, those all come from the same animal!
Homer: (chuckling) oh .. yea right … a WONDERFUL maaaagical animal

“We must move forward, not backward, upward not forward, and always twirling, twirling, twirling towards freedom.”

Marge: Homer, that’s not God. That’s just a waffle that Bart tossed up there.
[Marge scrapes it off the ceiling into Homer’s hands]
Homer: I know I shouldn’t eat thee, but — [bites] Mmm, sacrilicious.
